Pondered Question 16 - Will Children Be Born in the Kingdom of God?
In this Blog we show that it is Biblically impossible for children to be born after Jesus comes. Pre-Trib says there will be marriage in the next age, but Jesus said, "The children of this world (age) marry and are given in marriage; But they who shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world (age), and the resurrection of the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage"  (Lk.20:34-35). This seems to settle the Question, but Pre-Trib explains this by saying there'll be some Raptured into Heaven and given their immortal bodies, and some others will be, "Left Behind" at the "Rapture." Pre-Trib says that seven years after this "Rapture," Jesus comes again and sets up a Millennial Kingdom here on earth made up of Jews converted to believers in Jesus, along with a limited number of Gentiles. Pre-Trib says these people will remain mortals throughout this thousand year Kingdom and will marry and will give birth to children. Pre-Trib says that it will be from these billions of children born during that thousand years that Satan will go out to "deceive the nations" and gather an army, "the number of whom are as the sands of the sea" (Rev.20:8). On the surface Pre-Trib's explanation seems correct, until, we look a little closer.

"Neither Marry or Give in Marriage"
Jesus said that those who are accounted worthy to obtain the next age, "neither marry, nor are given in marriage" (Lk.20:35).  Jesus also said that those accounted worthy to obtain that age cannot die. No marriage, no children, and no death. Pre-Trib says Jesus was not referring to those entering and inheriting the Millennial Kingdom because they will all be mortals. Let's look closer at Pre-Trib's version of who inherits and enters the so-called "Millennial Kingdom."

The Righteous into Life Eternal
Pre-Trib says Christ's parable/prophecy of the Sheep and Goats recorded in Matthew 25 is a description of the beginning of the so-called "Millennial Kingdom" here on earth. Pre-Trib says the Sheep in the parable represent Gentiles that treated the Jews with kindness during the Tribulation, and as a reward for their kindness, Jesus grants them entrance into the Israelite's Millennial Kingdom. The Ponderable Question here is, will these Jews and Gentiles inheriting and entering this Kingdom still be mortals marrying and bearing children? Pre-Trib says that all who survive alive through the Tribulation, Jews and Gentiles, will remain mortals throughout the Millennium. But, concerning the Sheep and Goats, Jesus said the following: "And these [the Goats] shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous [the Sheep] into Life Everlasting" (Matt.25:46). Pastor, is there any way to read this without assuming the Sheep are now immortal? And if they are all immortal, Jews and Gentiles, can they still bear children?

"Come Quickly" "Reward Every Man"
How can Jesus, "Come Quickly" and, "Reward EVERY man," if there are still men and women that are not even yet born? In our Blogsite, "Marriage in the Next Age," we cover in detail the question of whether or not children will be born in God's Kingdom.

"Flesh and Blood Cannot Inherit the Kingdom"
Clearly, Paul agrees with Jesus. "No this I say brethren, that Flesh and Blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption" (1Corn.15:50). Paul goes on to prophesy that when Jesus comes, "then shall be brought to pass the saying, Death is swallowed up in Victory" (vs.54). Pre-Trib says the only reason for a Millennial Kingdom here on earth will be to reward mortal Jews because of promises and prophecies made to them.

Ask a Jew
Pastor, if you could explain the whole Pre-Trib concept of a Millennial Kingdom here on earth to a Jewish friend, and told him about the reward for Jews that resisted Antichrist by becoming Christian during the Tribulation, then explained to him all of the details involved in, "inheriting the Kingdom prepared for him from the foundation of the world" (Matt.25:34), Would he feel good about the reward given to his nation? Let's quickly review Pre-Trib's version of Christ's Kingdom.

At Christ's Second Coming, the entire earth will have been devastated by an earthquake the likes of which have never been seen ever. Ask your Jewish friend if this reward seems appropriate; ask if this total demolished planet fits the description of, "Kingdom prepared from the foundation of the world." Ask him, "If you were to become one of these Tribulation survivors, and you looked at planet earth in its devastated condition, and you were aware that there was, in Heaven, a City built by the Lord Himself; a City about 1500 miles squared, a city filled with mansions for all of the Redeemed from all ages; in other words, PARADISE, which reward would seem more appropriate? And add to this the fact that you were still in your mortal body, while those in New Jerusalem now had eternal life, and those in Heaven did not have to deal with evil sinners, but you, for the following thousand years, have no choice in the matter. Does all of this seem fair to you?"   Pastor, your Jewish friend's answer would be all too obvious. If we accept that, and the end of the Tribulation, all of God's people go to live in New Jerusalem, then all Scriptures addressing Christ's Second Coming fit together perfectly, and every saved person is treated fairly.

Pastor, we are only scratching the surface of Scriptures denying any possibility of there being any mortals, marrying, or children born during the Millennium. If no sinners or mortals inherit, enter, or even see the Kingdom, then where does Satan find his evil army, "the number of whom is as the sands of the sea" (Rev.20:8)? Great Question! The Bible answers totally, and of course without contradicting Jesus or Paul. Jesus and Paul said there will NOT be any mortals or sinners inheriting, entering, or even seeing the Kingdom of God. Trying to re-name God's Kingdom "The Millennial Kingdom" does not reverse Bible prophecies. In fact, when we carefully examine what Scripture says about Satan's "un-numberable army," all Bible prophecies make perfect sense, fit together perfectly, and there are NO contradictions. No Bible Text needs to be reversed, revised, or revoked. For a closer look at Christ's Millennial Kingdom, see, "Christ's Millennial Kingdom."
